Clinical professor with special responsibilities in paediatric oncology
A combined position as clinical professor with special responsibilities in paediatric oncology and as special consultant in paediatric haematology and/or oncology is available at the Research Unit of Pediatrics, Institute of Clinical Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark and at the Hans Christian Andersen Children’s Hospital, Department of Pediatrics, Odense University Hospital, respectively.
The posts are considered as one entity, and the application must be forwarded to both the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark, and to Odense University Hospital, as outlined in details below.
The professorship will run for five years and may be extended. The position as consultant is a firm position.

The appointment as consultant will follow the Agreement on Medical Managers. The salary is pensionable.
The appointment as professor will be paid as a fee with an annual pensionable salary.
An expert committee, appointed by the university, will assess all applications for the professorship, and the university will inform the applicants of their assessment individually.
Appointment as clinical professor will take place according to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.

♣ A complete and numbered list of publications
♣ A copy (as PDF-file) of each of the 10 publications, the applicant wishes to attach the application
♣ A teaching portfolio (see the link below)
♣ A statement informing of any other skills relevant to the post
♣ A summary of past research results and a research plan and a vision concerning this position
As to the post of consultant, the application must contain information about the applicant’s own skills in the specialist training’s seven areas of competence and - when possible - include supporting evidence.
