Associate Professor within Integrative Innovation Management group at the Department of Marketing & Management
A position as Associate Professor within the research area of Integrative Innovation Management group will be vacant from September 1, 2012 or soon after, at the Department of Marketing & Management, University of Southern Denmark. The position is located in Odense.
The Department of Marketing & Management employs researchers in the areas of Consumption Studies, International Business & Entrepreneurship, Integrative Innovation Management, Strategic Communication Management and Strategic Organizational Design.
The Integrative Innovation Management group is a cross-disciplinary research group at the University of Southern Denmark. The vision for Integrative Innovation Management is to integrate the partial approaches to innovation management by developing new methods and producing scientific insights into the innovation process by applying a theory-driven approach to support empirical results. In particular, the research group focuses on three key research areas; 1) interactive innovation paradigms including open innovation, user-driven innovation and value co-creation; 2) organizational aspects of innovation including multi-level issues in (organizational) knowledge management and innovation, and creativity mechanisms for innovation performance, and 3) production management and innovation including outsourcing of production and R&D.
Successful applicants will be responsible for the teaching of innovation theory, innovation and technology management, marketing, and preferably also product management, at Bachelor as well as Master of Science in economics and business administration, MSc. in Product Development and Innovation, and MBA programs.

Appointment to the position will be in accordance with the salary agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations and in accordance with the job description for instructors and academic personnel at institutions of higher education.
