The position will include management of research in Supply Chain Management in the cross disciplinary research programme in Innovation in Business Networks. Furthermore, the position will include placement in the research group applied accounting, applied auditing and operations management.
The department has a long tradition for applied and leadership-oriented research. Research contributions build on a multitude of methodologies, qualitative as well as quantitative. Applicants are expected to relate to this tradition and to have experience within this research approach, preferably obtained from participating in international research projects.
Applicants are expected to document research competences at a high international level within supply chain management through publications using a variety of methodologies and theoretical approaches. Furthermore, the applicants must have great future research potential to develop the research field in question, to participate in applications for external funding, to give research training to the young researchers at the department as well as being experienced in teaching, especially analysis of business networks.
The professor is expected to teach university courses at Master’s and PhD levels and to supervise PhD students. The professor is also expected to attract external funding and to collaborate and communicate with external partners. Campus Kolding is a partner in the executive MBA programme in Change Management and in other MBA programmes, and also in the Doctoral Programme in Organisation and Management Education. It is expected that the applicants participate and teach in these programmes and the development of them.
Within a three-year-period, foreign appointees are expected to be able to teach in Danish.

Appointment to the position will be in accordance with the salary agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations and in accordance with the job description of academic personnel at institutions of higher education. Employment shall be on the terms specified in the labour market agreement and the salary shall correspond to R 38 (pay bracket 38). To this must be added a pension-qualifying supplement from the executive pool.

The committee may request additional information, and if so, it is the responsibility of the applicant to provide the necessary material.
